TOR eco week 2018
TERM OF REFERENCE
Background
The idea and practice of ecological lifestyle education through the “Eco – Week Campaign 2018” will be made popular among universities and youth networks in Vietnam: with the training toolkits being used in C&E training and available for sharing with stakeholders, and eco-lifestyle being integrated into activities of universities/organizations in HCM city. Directly at least educators/trainers/students will be approached and provided with ecological lifestyle information and toolkits, so do all stakeholders who are included in projects’ activities from media, policy makers, social entrepreneurs, experts. Furthermore, project activities will be documented and shared on communication channels to outreach larger community. The curriculum, toolkits and campaign will also be shared widely with not only C&E’s partners but also to any individual and organization who work in education, environment and sustainability. The Eco-network that has been created among individuals and universities, organizations after 4 years of this project will be updated, strengthened frequently. The eco-week to be integrated as a an extra-curriculum activity of the university
The “Eco – Week Campaign 2018” in a university in HCM City will be organized in order to promote ecological lifestyle amongst lecturers and students. The campaign will include numerous activities from workshop, outdoor training to competition, exhibition… with different topics related to ecological lifestyle and to students’ majorand lecturers.C&E will work with a university in HCM City to conduct these events and will make use of all project materials, networks and expertise in the campaign. The eco-week will be integrated as a an extra-curriculum activity of the university.
Project Objectives :
- The idea and practice of ecological lifestyle education are integrated in university’s curriculums and promoted among universities and youth networks in HCM City, Vietnam
Activities:
- Organizing 01 eco-campaigns for students at 01 university in Hochiminh City.
In 06 days:
- 01 opening event with talk show about Water and Responsible Tourism and photo exhibition; a guide to make eco products in eco groups(1 day);
- 02 training on green consumption (2 classes/ 2 days each in parallel);
- 02 eco- outdoor training (2 classes / 1 day each in parallel);
- 01 cycling event with tree planting and drawing wall with recycling (1 day);
- 01 closing event with Talk show on Garbage and Food and Organic Fair) (1 day).
- Communication activities: before, during and after the event: Collecting photos, design and printing photos of an event.
C&E Center is looking for professionals to work in the project activities in different positions related to this TOR as listed below:
1.Title: Speaker – eco lifestyle
Requirement: The selection of individual consultants in the country comprises 03 experts in opening day and 03 experts in closing day: presentation, and video and speech.

Time: On 9:00 -11:00, 26th October for opening and 31 October in Closing day 2018

Key responsibility
Preparation talks for forum: topic Food, Water and Tourism Responsibility
Work with the project coordinator to ensure the content and timeline of the presentation
Professional requirements and experience
Have experience action and relate to Food, Water and Tourism Responsibility
Years of experiences: at least 5-10 years in the field of development and can successfully fulfill detailed tasks in this TOR.
Have experience in working with youth and community
Have experience in education, communication, development or related fields.
2 .A TOT training on ecological lifestyle
Place: Faculty of Economics, University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh, 1A Hoang Dieu,

Time: 26th -29 th October 2018
Location: Faculty of Economics, University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh, 1A Hoang Dieu,

Key responsibility
03 Lecturers for Preparation in the Tourism Responsibility training
03 Lecturers for Preparation in the sustainable food training
Build the content of TOT along with project coordinator
Prepare detailed content and training materials for TOT
Run specific TOT section related to their expertise
Facilitate activities during the TOT
Professional requirements and experience
Attended TOT in Hoi an Ecological lifestyle in October 2018 and wish to an integrated ecological lifestyle in the lecture
Have experience action and relate to Food and Tourism Responsibility
Years of experiences: at least 5-10 years in the field of development and can successfully fulfill detailed tasks in this TOR.
Have experience in working with youth and community
Have experience in education, communication, development or related fields.
- Position: Supporting to Ecoweek 2018 in University of Economics, HCM city

Key responsibility
Get procedure for Ecoweek 2018 implementing in EUH during 26-31 Oct 2018
Work with project coordinator to ensure the content and timeline, communication, logistics of ecoweek 2018
Professional requirements and experience
Have experience on organization ecological activities for students, wish to integrated ecological into lecture
Years of experiences: at least 5-10 years in the field of development and can successfully fulfill detailed tasks in this TOR.
Have experience in working with youth and community
Have experience in education, communication, development or related fields.
Ability to work well under pressure and in response to rapidly changing needs.
