In August 2013, in the community house of Khe Tran village, Phong My commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province, C&E center has coordinated with Forestry Science and Technology Association (FSTA) of Thua Thien Hue to held the Policy dialogue on conversion of forest use purpose combination with training workshop on skills to work with local authorities and stakeholders for Community Forests Management (CFM) Board of Khe Tran village. These activities belong to the framework of the project “Sustainable management of natural forest through raising awareness and building capacity to improve the rights and legal status of ethnic minority communities to natural forest in central Vietnam – 2013” funded by Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS).

Training workshop on club operation skills and dialogue on coordination of stakeholders in the management, protection and development of community forest in Xa Nghin I village

In August 2013, in the village Xa Nghin I, Za Hung commune, Dong Giang district, Quang Nam, C&E Center has coordinated with the Provincial Forest Protection Department to organize a training of building the Regulation of Forest Protection and Development of Xa Nghin I village and skills working with all levels of authorities combination with the dialogue of coordination in the implementation of the management, protection and development of community forest. The activities are within the framework of the project on Sustainable management of natural forest through raising awareness and building capacity to improve the rights and legal status of ethnic minority communities to natural forest in central Vietnam in 2013 funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS).
