The trial teaching program on Renewable Energy and Net zero/Zero carbon was organized by C&E Center in collaboration with Duy Tan University from August 20 to September 14 at Duy Tan University, Da Nang, to improve knowledge on “Renewable Energy and Zero Carbon/Energy Transition” for students.
The aim of the training course is to help students understand the basic concepts and importance of renewable energy in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and moving towards the Net Zero/Zero Carbon target; Equip students with data collection and analysis skills; Facilitate the development of innovative ideas and practical solutions through group discussions and practical exercises; thereby helping students gain a deeper understanding of their role in promoting sustainable energy transition and mitigating the impacts of climate change, while encouraging students to take concrete actions at the individual, organizational and societal levels, and provide an overview of career opportunities in the fields of renewable energy, green technology and related fields, thereby supporting future career development orientation.
The training course was organized for students of Duy Tan University’s School of Technology. There were 22 students from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of the Environmental Management and Resources; Environmental Engineering Technology majors of Duy Tan University participating in the training course. The students came from different courses of Environmental Management and Environmental Engineering, trained in scientific and technical aspects related to environmental protection and sustainable development. They had a background in environmental issues and wanted to improve their understanding of renewable energy, as well as the role of renewable energy solutions in achieving the Net Zero/Zero Carbon target._____________________________
