[RECAP] TRIAL OF INTEGRATING NUTRITION EDUCATION INTO TEACHING AT NAM TRUNG YEN SECONDARY SCHOOL

Did you know that on May 20 and 21, the young students of classes 6A1, 6A4, 6A5, 7A2, 7A3 and 7A6 of Nam Trung Yen Secondary School had interesting experiences when participating in lessons integrating nutrition education content.
Here, our students explored fascinating stories in Book 02 “Let’s cook together”, Book 04 “Secrets behind food” and Book 05 “Becoming a food hero” while researching, discussing and presenting on topics such as how to prepare nutritious and delicious dishes; how to choose food or how food is produced, how we transport, retail and consume food. In addition, students also had the opportunity to learn more about food project ideas at school and work together in groups to come up with initiatives to make the learning environment greener and more sustainable.
Surely after this experimental teaching integration activity, Nam Trung Yen Secondary School students have gained a lot of useful knowledge and interesting information and can confidently apply that knowledge in their daily lives this summer.
