The content and skills needed for TOT 2024 -Renewable Energy and Net Zero/Zero Carbon are based on the program’s first activity result, which is the Energy Awareness, Attitude, and Behavior Survey of the university and college community implemented from November 2023 to February 2024. The survey provides relevant information for designing educational interventions to promote energy transition in higher education institutions.
We would like to introduce the summary survey results in Newsletter No. 1 and the full results in the Research Report.
Training course TOT 2024 – Renewable Energy and Net Zero/Zero Carbon organized from 15 – 18/06/2024 in Da Nang by C&E in cooperation with Duy Tan University is the second activity under the ‘Research and recommendation for the implementation of a pilot program to integrate the contents of “Renewable Energy and Zero Carbon/Energy Transition” into university and college education’.
The program’s goal supports C&E tertiary education cooperating partners to build their training capacities and resources for a training curriculum on energy transition, meeting net zero emission targets and sustainable development, and addressing climate change.
Through an annual Training of Trainers (TOT) training course, C&E and their associated specialists will introduce the science of energy transition and sustainable energy sources, and provide the participants with an understanding of key cross-disciplinary challenges related to the transition towards a low carbon emission society. After annual training courses, lecturers will appropriately integrate knowledge and practice on this content into classroom and field teaching programs for their students.
