A SUMMARY OF ENTRIES TO THE CONTEST AND AWARD RESULT The future we want – Messages from Vietnamese youth to Rio+20
The entries included:
· 7 entries in the category of painting and photography;
· 3 entries in the category of poetry writing;
· 9 entries in the category of video clip making;
· 1 entry in the category of songwriting.
Despite the modest number of entries given that the contest was not long, most of the works demonstrated the creativity of the authors and conveyed messages for a sustainable future that the authors wished to send to the community. Three official prizes (to entries selected by the jury), a viewer-selected prize through the Contest’s Facebook page and three incentive prizes were awarded to the authors/ groups of authors. The award-winning and impressive products will be sent to the Rio+20

Although only a few works were awarded but all contest entries came from Vietnamese youth’s passions, enthusiasms, desires and actions to change the future in a more positive direction. And, as stated by representatives of authors, all contest participants were winners who would continue to act and follow the paths they wanted and chose.
