TOT 2025 Wrap-up: Spreading REZCET in Agriculture and Building Vietnam’s Future Green Workforce
From October 30 to November 2, 2025, the Center for Community and Environmental Development (C&E), in collaboration with the ICISE Quy Nhon Science Center, successfully organized the Training of Trainers (TOT) Program 2025 titled “REZCET in Agriculture: Preparing a Green Workforce for the Future.”
The program brought together 24 participants representing 15 universities and training institutions across Vietnam—marking an important milestone in the effort to integrate Renewable Energy – Zero Carbon – Energy Transition (REZCET) into the agriculture, forestry and aquaculture sectors.

🔍 1. Key Highlights of TOT 2025
✔ 24 participants – 3 regions – 1 shared vision
Participants from the North, Central, and Southern regions created a multidisciplinary learning community, representing fields such as environment, agriculture, economics, tourism, and technology.
✔ 4 days – 6 core modules – over 15 interactive learning activities
The programme was designed using C&E’s 2025 research framework, enabling participants to:
Understand the core concepts and relevance of REZCET
Design REZCET-integrated lessons using the 4Cs Development Model & 6 Trumps principles

🌏 4. Why TOT 2025 Matters: Acting for a Green Workforce
With Vietnam committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050, and agriculture responsible for one-third of national emissions, REZCET plays a strategic role in training the future workforce.
TOT 2025 reinforces that:
➡ Integrating REZCET into education is a long-term investment in Vietnam’s green workforce.
➡ Universities are key actors in accelerating the energy transition.
➡ Young people are central to shaping a low-carbon future.
🏁 5. Conclusion
TOT 2025 was more than a training course—it was a journey of learning, experience, connection, and inspiration.
Over four days at ICISE Quy Nhon, participants built a strong foundation to bring REZCET into classrooms and inspire thousands of students every year.
C&E is committed to continuing this collaboration through the REZCET pilot teaching phase in 2026, expanding the programme’s impact and contributing to Vietnam’s future green workforce.
