Supporting Community-based Initiatives in Environmental Protection

Eligible applicants include NGOs, CBOs, and other CSOs e.g. users’ groups, groups of individuals of the same interests, clubs, small cooperatives, village communities, schools, and etc. Local government, Women`s Union, Farmers Union, Youth Union, or other mass organizations play their roles (if involved) in monitoring and evaluation of of funded projects in their communities. However, SEF may consider applications of mass organizations in disadvantaged and remote areas.

The duration of funded projects is within 12 months with the maximum budget levels:

• Community organizations: USD 7.000 – 10.000
• Non-governmental organizations: USD 10.000 – 15.000
