Finding Eco 3 – Training of trainer about Ecological lifestyle

The practical training “Finding Eco 3 – Training of trainer” aims to build and promote the role of ecological lifestyle in addressing global challenges, such as resource efficiency and biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, poverty eradication and social well-being improvement. The program will use experiential learning techniques to expose participants to current themes in the field and methodology to bring eco-lifestyle closer to community or apply in further projects/organization/activities. Finally, the training will develop ecological lifestyle in the context of a globalized society, and draw an eco-network of trainers/ambassadors who will widespread eco-lifestyle to their community.

From 27/07/2016 to 31/07/2016, 25 young people were selected to participate in Cam Thanh, Hoi An, Quang Nam

The training course “Finding Eco – Training of trainers” is an activity in project “Partnership to support and promote informal and non-formal education for Advocating an eco-lifestyle and climate change adaptation and mitigation in Vietnamese Universities” which is organized by Center for Development of Community Initiative and Environment (C&E Center) with the support from Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung – Southeast Asia.

At Thanh Dong Garden – The first organic vegetable garden in Hoi An, trainees were exchanged directly with farmers about how organic farming was done.

Building a project or lecture by applying the correct design of the lesson will help to deliver the exact message to the target audience. The “learning by experience” method is also a new and easy way to apply knowledge of Ecological Lifestyle into future activities or lectures.
